Oil Cap A63717C Fits Homelite Super XL XL12 SXL 1050 Chainsaw

Oil tank cap that fits the Homelite Super XL, Big Red, Old Blue, SXL, XL12 and 1050 chainsaws. Replaces part number A63717C (A-63717-C). A cracked, stripped or missing cap lets chain oil out and dirt in, and dirt in the tank ends up in the oil pump. Clean the threads and sealing face of the tank neck so the new cap seats flat, and tighten it by hand. With the tank full, check that the saw throws a line of oil off the chain; if it does not, look at the pickup, the filter and the bar oil hole.
