One .020 oversize piston kit for one cylinder of the Kohler KT17, M18, MV16 or MV18 cast-iron twin; the engine needs two. It has the piston (replacing 52-874-14-S), the .020 ring set (52-108-11-S), wrist pin and clips. For a cylinder bored .020 over the 3.125 inch standard; it will not fit a standard or .010 bore. The KT19, M20 and MV20 share the bore but take a different piston. Check ring end gap in the bore and use a ring compressor.
- ONE .020 OVERSIZE PISTON KIT - Piston, ring set (52-108-11-S), wrist pin and clips for one cylinder; the twin needs two.
- FITS KOHLER KT17, M18, MV16 AND MV18 - The cast-iron twins on the 3.125 inch (79.4mm) standard bore. Not the KT19, M20 or MV20, which share the bore but take a different piston.
- REPLACES 52-874-14-S - The .020 oversize piston. The rings are the .020 set, 52-108-11-S.
- FOR A BORE CUT .020 OVER ONLY - It will not fit a standard or .010 bore. Measure the finished bore before ordering.
- CHECK RING END GAP IN THIS CYLINDER - Square each ring in the bore it will run in, measure the gap with a feeler gauge, and check side clearance in the groove. Use a ring compressor.
