50mm Cylinder Piston Kit Fits Hilti DSH-700 DSH-700X

A 50mm Nikasil cylinder and piston kit for the Hilti DSH-700 and DSH-700X hand-held gas cut-off saws. The kit contains the Nikasil-plated cylinder, piston, piston rings, wrist pin, circlips and cylinder base gasket. It replaces part numbers 412245, 412238 and 261999. The plated bore is hard-wearing in the abrasive dust of concrete and masonry cutting, but no bore survives a damaged air filter: a torn or soaked filter lets slurry dust score a new cylinder within hours, so fit a new filter with the kit. Before installing, pressure and vacuum test the crankcase and replace hardened crankshaft seals and a cracked intake boot, since an air leak causes the lean seizure that scores a new piston. Use a ring compressor on assembly and tighten the cylinder screws evenly.
