Points Condenser and Coil Fits Homelite 1050 Wiz 55 66

Breaker points, condenser and ignition coil that fits the Homelite 1050 and Wiz 55 and the larger 55, 66, 80 and 77 points-ignition chainsaws of the same family. Replace them when the spark is weak or missing, when the saw dies as it warms up, or when the points are burned and pitted; a failing condenser burns the points, so the two go in together. Set the point gap with a feeler gauge at full opening on the cam, clean the contacts and set the coil-to-flywheel air gap. While it is apart, check the flywheel key, the kill switch wire and the plug lead, since a sheared key or a grounded wire gives the same symptoms as bad points.
