Cast Iron Cylinder Head Fits Kohler K241 K301 K321

A cast iron cylinder head kit for the Kohler K241, K301 and K321 single-cylinder engines and the M10, M12 and M14 built on them. It contains the head, a head gasket (47-041-15-S) and a spark plug for one engine, and replaces head 47-015-06-S, older number 230670-S. It does not fit the K341 or M16, which take a different head. The head is built to the later pattern with the spark plug directly above the exhaust valve, so compare it with the head on your engine. Pistons, rings, valves and the bottom end are not included. Check the block deck for flatness, clean both faces to bare metal, and torque the head bolts in sequence to the service manual figure.

• INSTALLATION - Clean the deck and head faces to bare metal, torque the head bolts in sequence to the service manual figure, and retorque after the first heat cycle if the manual calls for it.
