77mm Standard Piston with Rings Fits Kohler CH18 CH20

One 77.00mm standard piston with its matched ring set, wrist pin and circlips for the Kohler 77mm, 624cc twin-cylinder engines. Gaskets, seals, connecting rods and valves are not included. It fits the CH18, CH20, CH22, CH620, CH621, CH640 and CH641 and the CV18, CV20, CV22, CV620, CV624 and CV640; some CH22, CH620 and CH640 engines are the 80mm, 674cc version, so check the displacement on the nameplate. It is for a standard 77.00mm bore that has not been bored oversize. A twin has two cylinders, so order two to do both sides. Before assembly, check ring end gap in the bore and side clearance in the groove, use a ring compressor, and find the cause of any scuffing on the old piston.

• FOR A STANDARD 77.00MM BORE - For a cylinder that has not been bored oversize and is within its taper and out-of-round limits. A worn bore needs boring and an oversize piston instead.
• ONE CYLINDER - This is one piston. A twin has two cylinders, so order two to do both sides.
• MEASURE BEFORE IT GOES TOGETHER - Check ring end gap in the bore and side clearance in the groove, and use a ring compressor. If the old piston scuffed, find out why, such as an air leak, overheating or low oil, before fitting the new one.
