34mm Piston Kit 521613601 Fits RedMax BCZ2660 HEZ2660

34mm piston kit that fits the RedMax BCZ2660TS, BCZ2660T and BCZ2660S string trimmers and brushcutters and the HEZ2660 hedge trimmer. Replaces part number 521613601. Before fitting, look down the cylinder bore; scored or flaking plating means a new piston will not seal. Find the cause of the old failure first, usually an air leak or a lean carburetor setting: check the intake for cracks, pressure and vacuum test the crankcase and fit a clean air filter. On assembly, check ring end gap in the bore, fit the circlips correctly and use fresh gaskets.

• FITS REDMAX BCZ2660TS, BCZ2660T, BCZ2660S AND HEZ2660 - The BCZ2660 string trimmers and brushcutters and the HEZ2660 hedge trimmer.
• CHECK THE CYLINDER FIRST - Look down the bore before fitting a new piston. If the plating is scored or flaking, a new piston will not seal and will wear out quickly.
• FIND OUT WHY IT FAILED - On a small trimmer a scored piston usually follows an air leak or a lean carburetor setting. Check the intake for cracks, pressure and vacuum test the crankcase and fit a clean air filter.
• ON ASSEMBLY - Check ring end gap in the bore, fit the circlips with their openings away from the slot, and use fresh gaskets. Run the first tank gently and recheck the carburetor setting.
