Fuel and Oil Cap Gaskets Fits McCulloch Mac 3200 3500 3800

Fuel cap and oil cap gaskets that fit the McCulloch Mac 3200, 3210, 3214, 3216, 3218, 3500, 3514, 3516, 3518, 3800, 3814, 3816 and 3818 chainsaws, the Pro Mac 3205AV, 3505AV and 3805AV, the Eager Beaver 1432, 1435, 1632, 1635, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2316AV and 2318AV, the Maccat Super 16AV and 18AV, and the Silver Eagle 2012S, 2014S, 2016S, 2116AVS and 2318AVS. Two gaskets: the fuel cap gasket is 1-1/4 inch outside diameter and the oil cap gasket is 1-1/16 inch outside diameter, both cork-rubber that resists fuel and oil. A hard or missing cap gasket leaks fuel or bar oil. Clean the cap groove, press the new gasket in flat, and check the tank vent while the cap is off.

• WHY CAP GASKETS MATTER - A hardened or missing fuel cap gasket lets fuel seep out and lets air past the cap, and an oil cap that does not seal throws bar oil over the saw. Both shrink and crack with age.
• FITTING THEM - Pick the old gasket out of the cap, clean the groove, and press the new one in evenly so it sits flat. Check the tank vent while the cap is off; a blocked vent starves a saw just like a bad carburetor.
