Muffler 4137-140-0602 Fits Stihl FS75 FS76 FS80 FS85 Trimmer

Exhaust muffler that fits the Stihl FS75, FS76, FS80 and FS85 string trimmers and brushcutters. Replaces part number 4137-140-0602 (4137 140 0602). Replace it when the body is cracked or rusted through, a mounting ear has broken, or the exhaust has turned loud or rattly. Compare the mounting holes and outlet with the old muffler before fitting, use a new gasket if the old one is crushed or burnt, tighten the screws evenly and recheck them after the first tank. Keep the outlet clear of carbon so the engine does not lose power or run hot.

• MUFFLER - Replaces 4137-140-0602, also written 4137 140 0602.
• FITS STIHL FS75, FS76, FS80 AND FS85 - String trimmers and brushcutters. Compare the old muffler's mounting holes and outlet with this one before fitting.
• SIGNS IT IS DUE - A cracked or rusted-through body, a loud or rattling exhaust, a broken mounting ear, or an outlet so blocked with carbon that the engine bogs and runs hot at full throttle.
• KEEP THE OUTLET CLEAR - Carbon builds at the outlet on a trimmer run with too much oil in the mix or left idling for long spells. A blocked outlet costs power and runs the cylinder hot, so check it at each service.
• FITTING IT - Use a new muffler gasket if the old one is crushed or burnt, tighten the screws evenly, and recheck them after the first tank once the muffler has heated and cooled.
