Piston Kit for Echo PB-500 Backpack Blowers This piston kit replaces Echo part number P021045170 and fits the 50.8cc single-cylinder two-cycle engine used in the PB-500 series backpack blower. It supersedes the earlier P021014972 and P021044131 kits. The 43mm-bore kit includes the piston, piston ring(s), wrist pin, and clips for one engine. Fitment Compatible with Echo PB-500T, PB-500H, and PB-508RT (also listed as EB-508RT) gas backpack leaf blowers. All three share the same 50.8cc engine with a 43mm cylinder bore. Confirming Fit Check the model number on the blower's rating label and the part number on the original piston. This piston fits the 50.8cc PB-500 engine only – the PB-580 (58.2cc) uses a larger engine with a different piston and bore, so match the 50.8cc, 43mm specification before ordering. If the cylinder is scored, this engine family also uses a matched cylinder-and-piston kit.
