Complete gasket set with crankshaft seals that fits the Stihl 046 and MS460 chainsaws in all variants. It does not fit the MS461 or MS462. Use it whenever the cylinder or crankcase comes apart, and when a saw runs lean or will not hold an idle because of an air leak. Scrape every sealing face to clean metal, press the seals in square, and pressure and vacuum test the crankcase before running the saw.
- COMPLETE GASKET SET WITH SEALS - The gaskets and crankshaft seals for a top-end job or a full teardown.
- FITS STIHL 046 AND MS460 - In all variants. Not the MS461 or MS462, which are different engines.
- WHEN TO USE IT - Any time the cylinder or crankcase comes apart, and whenever a saw runs lean, will not hold an idle or revs and hangs from an air leak.
- PREPARE THE FACES - Scrape every sealing face down to clean metal. A new gasket will not seal against old gasket material.
- TEST BEFORE IT RUNS - Press the seals in square, then pressure and vacuum test the crankcase before you put fuel through it. An air leak will score a new piston.
