60mm Piston Kit 501894103 Fits Husqvarna K1250 Cutter

60mm piston kit that fits the Husqvarna K1250 power cutter, and the Partner K1250 it came from; the kit has the piston, rings, wrist pin and circlips. Replaces part number 501894103 (501 89 41-03). Measure the old piston to confirm the 60mm size. Concrete dust past a torn or badly seated air filter wears the piston and bore fast, so check the filter and intake, pressure and vacuum test the crankcase, and use a new base gasket and a ring compressor.

• CUT-OFF SAWS DIE OF DUST - Concrete dust past a torn or badly seated air filter wears the piston and bore fast. Look at the filter, its seal and the intake before the new piston goes in.
• FIND OUT WHY IT FAILED - A scored piston had a cause: a hardened crankshaft seal, a split intake boot, a lean carburetor setting or the wrong fuel mix. Pressure and vacuum test the crankcase before the new piston runs.
• ON ASSEMBLY - Use a ring compressor, fit the clips with their openings away from the slot, check ring end gap in the bore, and use a new base gasket.
