Air Filter 502844401 Fits Husqvarna 150BT 350BT 560BTS Blower

Air filter that fits the Husqvarna 150BT, 150BF, 350BT, 350BF, 560BTS and 560BFS backpack blowers. Replaces part number 502844401 (502 84 44-01). A blower moves a lot of dusty air, and a clogged filter makes the engine run rich, smoke and lose power, while a torn one lets dirt wear the piston and cylinder. Replace the filter when it is torn, soaked or no longer seals in the housing. Clean the housing before fitting the new filter so loose dirt does not fall into the carburetor, and check that the cover closes fully.

• WHY IT MATTERS ON A BLOWER - A blower pulls a lot of dust past its filter. A clogged filter makes the engine run rich, smoke and lose power, and a torn one lets dirt in to wear the piston and cylinder.
• WHEN TO CHANGE IT - Check the filter often in dusty work. Replace it when it is torn, soaked with oil or fuel, or no longer seals all the way around in the housing.
• FITTING IT - Clean the dirt out of the filter housing before the new filter goes in, so the loose dirt does not fall into the carburetor. Make sure the filter seats evenly and the cover closes fully.
• IF IT STILL RUNS POORLY - A blower that still bogs or smokes with a clean filter may need the carburetor adjusted, the spark arrestor screen cleaned, or the fuel filter and fuel replaced.
