45mm Piston Kit Fits Echo CS-590 CS-600P P021038790

A standard 45mm piston kit for the Echo CS-590, CS-591 and CS-600P chainsaws and the Shindaiwa 591 and 600SX, which share the same engine. The kit contains a flat-top piston, ring, wrist pin and circlips, and keeps the saw at its stock compression. It replaces piston kit P021038790. Inspect the cylinder first: a heavily scored bore needs a new or replated cylinder. Find out why the old piston failed, since an air leak at a crankshaft seal or the intake, a lean carburetor or the wrong fuel mix will score the new one. Use a ring compressor on assembly and check that both circlips are fully seated.
