Ensure reliable performance and longevity for your Kohler engine with this compatible cylinder head gasket. Designed to fit Kohler models CH18, CH20, CH22, CV18, CV20, CV22, CH620, CH630, CH640, CH641, and CV625, this gasket replaces the original component, providing a secure seal and preventing leaks. Crafted from durable materials to withstand high temperatures and pressures, this gasket is an essential replacement part for maintaining optimal engine operation. Invest in this high-quality cylinder head gasket and keep your Kohler engine running smoothly.

  • CYLINDER HEAD GASKET FOR THE 77MM KOHLER TWINS - Replaces Kohler 24-841-01-S. Fits CH18, CH20, CH22, CH620, CH630, CH640 and CH641, together with the vertical shaft CV18, CV20, CV22 and CV625. One head gasket per order, and a twin has two heads.
  • A HEAD GASKET IS NOT A STANDALONE REPAIR - If one has failed, something made it fail: a warped head, a loose or stretched head bolt, or an engine that has been run hot. Check the head and the block face for flatness with a straight edge before the new gasket goes on, or you will be doing the job twice.
  • CHECK THE BORE SIZE BEFORE ORDERING - This is the 77mm gasket. Kohler also built 80mm and 83mm twins and the head gasket bore opening differs, so a gasket for the wrong family will overhang into the cylinder. Read the model and spec numbers off the blower housing decal and measure the bore if you are unsure.
  • FIT IT DRY - These gaskets are not meant to be dressed with sealant. Clean both faces back to bare metal, make sure no old gasket material is left in the corners, and check the head bolt holes are clear. A smear of sealant on a head gasket is the commonest way to make a good one leak.
  • TORQUE IT PROPERLY AND IN SEQUENCE - Follow the tightening sequence and the torque figure in the service manual for your engine, working up in stages rather than pulling each bolt down in one go. Replace head bolts that have been through a heat cycle if the manual calls for it, and recheck after the first run up to temperature.
