One 83mm standard piston for the Kohler 725cc and 747cc twin-cylinder engines, with its matched ring set (top, second and three-piece oil ring), wrist pin and circlips. It replaces 24-874-30-S. These are twin-cylinder engines: one piston does one cylinder, and both cylinders need two. The piston comes with its own rings, so there is no need to measure the old ring grooves. It fits the CH25, CH26, CH27, CH730, CH735, CH740, CH745, CH750, CV25, CV26, CV27, CV724, CV725, CV730, CV740, CV745, CV750, KT715, KT725, KT730, KT735, KT740, KT745, SV710 to SV840, LH755 and LH775. For cylinders at the 83mm standard size; a bored cylinder needs an oversize piston. Before assembly, check the bore for taper and out of round, check ring end gap, use a ring compressor and fit the piston the right way round.

  • ONE PISTON WITH RINGS - One 83mm standard piston with its matched ring set (top, second and three-piece oil ring), wrist pin and circlips. These engines are twins: one piston does one cylinder, both cylinders need two.
  • REPLACES 24-874-30-S - The Kohler standard 83mm piston. If your parts list shows 24-874-30-S, this is the piston.
  • NO RING-STYLE CHECK NEEDED - These engines were built with 1.2mm and 1.5mm ring grooves. The piston comes with its own matched rings, so it goes into either without measuring the old ones.
  • FITS KOHLER 83MM TWINS - CH25, CH26, CH27, CH730, CH735, CH740, CH745, CH750, CV25, CV26, CV27, CV724, CV725, CV730, CV740, CV745, CV750, KT715, KT725, KT730, KT735, KT740, KT745, SV710 to SV840, LH755 and LH775. For cylinders at the 83mm standard size; a bored cylinder needs an oversize piston.
  • MEASURE BEFORE IT GOES TOGETHER - Check the bore for taper and out of round, check ring end gap in the bore, use a ring compressor, and fit the piston the right way round.
