83.50mm .020 Over Piston with Rings Fits Kohler CH25

One .020 oversize piston for the Kohler 83mm twin-cylinder engines, 725cc and 747cc, for one cylinder; a twin needs two. It comes with its own ring set, wrist pin and circlips. What the trade calls .020 is the 0.50mm step, so the piston fits a cylinder bored to 83.50mm; it will not go into a standard 83mm bore, so measure the finished bore before ordering. The rings come matched to the piston, so there is no need to measure the old ring grooves. Gaskets and seals are not included. It fits the CH25, CH26, CH27, CH730, CH735, CH740, CH745, CH750, CV25, CV26, CV27, CV724, CV725, CV730, CV740, CV745, CV750, KT715, KT725, KT730, KT735, KT740, KT745, SV710 to SV840, LH755 and LH775 once bored .020 over. Before assembly, check piston-to-bore clearance, ring end gap and groove side clearance, and use a ring compressor.

• NO RING-STYLE CHECK NEEDED - These engines were built with 1.2mm and 1.5mm ring grooves. The piston comes with its own matched rings, so there is nothing to measure on the old ones.
