2 Ring Sets Fits Kohler 80mm CH23 CH680 CV680 Style A

Two standard 80mm Style A piston ring sets for the Kohler 674cc twin-cylinder engines, one per cylinder. Each set has a 1.5mm top compression ring, a second ring and a three-piece oil ring. Pistons and gaskets are not included. Measure the old top ring first: 1.5mm is Style A and takes these sets, while 1.2mm is Style B and needs the Style B set. They fit the CH22, CH23, CH620, CH621, CH640, CH641, CH670, CH680 and CH682 and the CV22, CV23, CV620, CV640, CV670 and CV680; some CH22, CH620, CH640 and CV620 engines are the 77mm version, so check the displacement on the nameplate. They replace 24-108-18-S and the earlier 24-108-08-S. Rings will not seal a scored, glazed or out-of-round bore, so measure taper and out of round, hone lightly and check the end gap of each ring in its bore.

• REPLACES 24-108-18-S - 24-108-08-S is the earlier number for the same set. If your parts list shows either, these sets cover it.
• CHECK THE BORE FIRST - Rings will not seal a scored, glazed or out-of-round bore. Measure taper and out of round, hone lightly for a crosshatch, and check the end gap of each ring in the bore it will run in.
