2 Ring Sets 83mm +0.08mm Style B 1.2mm Fits Kohler

Two Style B piston ring sets for the Kohler 83mm twin-cylinder engines, 725cc and 747cc, one per cylinder, so this does both sides of a twin. Each set has a 1.2mm top compression ring, a second ring and a three-piece oil ring. These are the +0.08mm step (about .003 inch, sometimes written +.008), the smallest ring oversize, for a standard bore with light wear where a standard set leaves the end gap wide; a bored cylinder needs the set for the size it was cut to. Each set replaces 25-108-02-S. Rings only: pistons, gaskets and seals are not included. The rings must match the grooves of the pistons being kept: Style B takes a 1.2mm top ring and Style A takes 1.5mm, so measure the old top ring or the top groove before ordering. It fits the CH25, CH26, CH27, CH730, CH735, CH740, CH745, CH750, CV25, CV26, CV27, CV724, CV725, CV730, CV740, CV745, CV750, KT715, KT725, KT730, KT735, KT740, KT745, SV710 to SV840, LH755 and LH775. Rings will not seal a scored, glazed or out-of-round bore, so measure taper and out of round, hone lightly for a crosshatch and check the end gap of each ring in its bore before assembly.
