Two notched camshaft bearings that fit the Onan BF, B43, B48, P216, P218, P220, P224, NH, NHA, NHB, NHC and T260G engines. Replaces 101-0405. Both bearings are .700 inch wide, the width of the original bearings; the later 101-0405 service bearing is .320 inch wide, and narrow bearings have been known to work loose while the engine runs. The front notch gives clearance for a high-lift camshaft. Press them in square, line up any oil holes with the block passages, and check camshaft end play before assembly.
- TWO NOTCHED CAMSHAFT BEARINGS - Replaces 101-0405. Both bearings are .700 inch wide, the width of the original bearings.
- FITS ONAN BF, B43, B48, P216, P218, P220 AND P224 - Also the NH, NHA, NHB and NHC and the T260G. Read the model and spec number from the engine tag.
- WHY THE WIDTH MATTERS - The later service bearing 101-0405 is .320 inch wide, less than half the original, and narrow bearings have been known to work loose in the block while the engine runs. These keep the full .700 inch width.
- NOTCHED AT THE FRONT - The notch gives clearance for a high-lift camshaft.
- FITTING THEM - Press the bearings in square with a driver that bears on the whole edge, line up any oil holes with the passages in the block, and check camshaft end play and clearance before the timing gear goes on.
