2 Axle Seals 587086401 Fits Husqvarna YTA24V48 YTA22V46

Two axle seals that fit Husqvarna YTA24V48, YTA22V46, YTA19K42 and YTA18542 lawn tractors with the RS800 transaxle. Replaces part numbers 587086401, 590100301 and GT41857. Check the transaxle model tag before ordering. Replace them when oil weeps down the axle housing or onto the wheel hub. Clean the axle and dress any burrs where the old seal rode, cover the keyway, oil the lip, press the seal in square, and top up the transaxle with the fluid its maker lists.

• SIGNS THEY ARE DUE - Oil weeping down the axle housing or onto the wheel hub, a wet ring of dirt around the axle, or a low fluid level in the transaxle.
• FITTING THEM - Clean the axle and dress any burrs or rust where the old seal rode. Cover the keyway so it does not cut the lip, oil the lip, and press the seal in square until it sits flush.
• AFTER FITTING - Top up the transaxle with the fluid its maker lists, purge the air if it is a hydrostatic unit, and check for weeping after the first use.
