Air filter, fuel filter and spark plug. WHAT IT REPLACES Air filter - Homelite 94387B, current number UP07143. Also 94387, 94387A and 94387C Fuel filter - Homelite 96639, current number UP03871 Spark plug - Homelite 96169S, current number UP03883, a DJ7Y THE SAW. Homelite 330, 53.6cc, 3.3 cubic inches, two stroke, reed valve induction. Builds UT-10540, UT-10575 and UT-10609, and the 330 Automatic. THIS KIT IS FOR THE 330 ONLY. The spark plug and the fuel filter are shared widely across the Homelite range, but the air filter is not - Homelite listed the 94387 family for the 330 alone. That is what limits the kit. The 340, 350, 360 and 410 use different air filters. SPARK PLUG. DJ7Y, gapped to 0.025 inch. The resistor equivalent is RDJ7Y and either is fine. Be careful of online spec sheets that list an RCJ7Y for this saw - that is a different plug family with a different reach and seat type, and it is not a substitute. WHAT A TUNE UP ACTUALLY FIXES. A 330 that hunts at idle, bogs in the cut or needs a long warm up is usually short of air, short of clean fuel, or firing on a worn plug. Those three parts together cure most of it. Change all three at once and set the gap - it is a twenty minute job and it saves a carburetor rebuild that was never needed. WHILE YOU ARE IN THE TANK. Look at the fuel line where it passes through the grommet. On a saw of this age the line goes hard and splits there, which lets air into the fuel and leans the engine out - the same symptom a blocked filter gives, and no new filter will fix it. Check the impulse line too.

WHAT IS IN THE KIT - Air filter, replacing Homelite 94387B, now UP07143. Fuel filter, replacing Homelite 96639, now UP03871. Spark plug, replacing Homelite 96169S, now UP03883, which is a DJ7Y. Three parts, which is a full tune up on this saw.

FITS THE HOMELITE 330 AND NOTHING ELSE - 53.6cc, 3.3 cubic inches, reed valve induction. The air filter is what limits it: Homelite listed 94387 and its A, B and C revisions for the 330 alone, across the UT-10540, UT-10575 and UT-10609 builds and the 330 Automatic. The 340, 350, 360 and 410 take different filters, so do not order this for one of those.

THE SPARK PLUG IS A DJ7Y, GAPPED TO 0.025 INCH - The resistor version is RDJ7Y and either will run. Do not substitute an RCJ7Y, which turns up in online spec sheets for this saw and is a different family with a different reach and seat - it will not seat correctly. DJ7Y is the number to match.

WHY A TUNE UP FIXES MOST OF THESE - A 330 that will not hold an idle, bogs under load, or needs half a tank to warm up is usually breathing through a blocked filter and drinking through a varnished fuel filter rather than suffering anything expensive. Do all three parts together and set the plug gap before you condemn the carburetor.

WHILE YOU HAVE IT APART - Check the fuel line where it enters the tank, because a line that has gone hard will crack at the grommet and let air in, and that leans the mix out no matter how clean the new filter is. Check the impulse line at the same time. Both are cheap and both cause the symptom people blame on the carburetor.

https://performancesawsupply.com/products/tune-up-kit-homelite-330-air-fuel-filter-spark-plug-53-6cc-bq-gh20-1m5b
