A 52mm cylinder and piston kit for the Stihl 064 chainsaw, replacing 1122-020-1203. The 066 is a 54mm bore and takes a different kit, so check the model and the old cylinder before ordering. A scored piston on these saws is usually caused by a lean condition, so pressure and vacuum test the crankcase and check the intake boot and fuel line before fitting the new top end. Use a ring compressor, fit the circlips correctly, torque the cylinder base in a cross pattern and check the carburetor tune before working the saw hard.

  • 52MM CYLINDER AND PISTON KIT - A 52mm cylinder with its piston and rings, for a top-end rebuild on the 064.
  • FITS STIHL 064 - The 52mm saw. The 066 is a 54mm bore and takes a different kit, so check the model and the old cylinder before ordering.
  • REPLACES 1122-020-1203 - If your parts list shows that number for the cylinder and piston, this kit covers it.
  • FIND THE CAUSE FIRST - A scored piston on these saws is usually a lean condition. Pressure and vacuum test the crankcase and check the intake boot and fuel line before the new top end goes on.
  • INSTALLATION - Use a ring compressor, fit new circlips the right way round, set the cylinder base torque in a cross pattern and check the carburetor tune before working the saw hard.
