The kit contains two standard-bore pistons with wrist pins and clips, two three-piece ring sets, the complete gasket set with head gaskets, valve cover gaskets, intake and exhaust gaskets and the small O-rings, and both crankshaft seals. Connecting rods, valves and bearings are not included. Standard bore only: an engine that was bored .010, .020 or .030 over in an earlier rebuild needs oversize pistons, so measure the bore or check the old piston crown for an oversize stamp before ordering. Replaces Onan part numbers 112-0264 piston kit, 113-0310 standard ring set, 168-0187 gasket set and 110-3181 head gasket kit. These engines were fitted to garden tractors, riding mowers, generator sets and welder-generators through the 1980s and 1990s. Before assembly, hone the cylinders for the new rings, stagger the ring end gaps, and check the valve seats and guides while the heads are off. Compatible with Onan P216, P218, P220, B43 and B48.

- WHAT TO CHECK BEFORE IT GOES BACK TOGETHER - Hone the cylinders so the new rings have a crosshatch to seat against, stagger the ring end gaps around each piston, and check the valve seats and guides while the heads are off. The seals go in with the lip facing the crankcase.
