Overhaul kit with valves for the Onan B43E, B43G, B43M, B48G and B48M, the BF and BFA, and the BG, BGE and BGEL, the 12.5 to 20 horsepower horizontally opposed twins at the 3.250 inch (82.55 mm) standard bore. The kit contains two standard-bore pistons with wrist pins, circlips and matched ring sets, two intake valves, two exhaust valves, two valve stem seals, the top-end gasket set and the bottom-end gasket set with both crankshaft seals. Connecting rods, camshaft, lifters, bearings, valve springs, keepers and retainers are not included; the originals are reused. The valves are the reason to read the engine tag: this kit's valves fit the B, BF and BG series only. The P216, P218 and P220, and the later OL16, OL18, OL20, LX720, LX770 and LX790, use a different valve design, so for those engines the P216 P218 P220 rebuild kit is the right one, even though the pistons are the same 3.250 inch part. Replaces part numbers 0112-0264 for the pistons, 110-1808 and its supersession 110-2368 for the intake valves, 110-1955, 110-2438 and 110-1809 for the exhaust valves, 509-0210 for the stem seals and 110-3181 for the top-end gasket set. Standard bore only: an engine bored .010, .020 or .030 over in an earlier rebuild needs oversize pistons, so measure the cylinders before ordering. These engines were fitted to RV and portable generator sets, garden tractors and welder-generators through the 1980s and 1990s. On assembly, use a ring compressor, lap the new valves to their seats with compound, and follow the service manual torque figures and sequence for the heads, rods and valve covers.

- STANDARD BORE ONLY, AND LAP THE VALVES IN - An engine bored .010, .020 or .030 over in an earlier rebuild needs oversize pistons, so measure the bore first. New valves seat properly only after lapping with compound on the old seats, and the heads go back on to the torque and sequence in the service manual.
