Two standard piston ring sets for the Kohler KT17, KT19, M18, M20, MV16, MV18 and MV20 cast-iron twin-cylinder engines, one per cylinder. Each set has a top compression ring, a second compression ring and a three-piece oil ring, and the two sets replace two of 52-108-09-S. Pistons and gaskets are not included. These are for the 3.125-inch (79.4mm) standard bore; a bored cylinder needs .010, .020 or .030 oversize rings. Rings will not seal a scored, glazed or out-of-round bore, so measure taper and out of round, hone lightly for a crosshatch and check the end gap of each ring in its bore before assembly.
