Chainsaw sprocket drum with needle bearing for Homelite saws. Replaces Homelite A95653 in its A through E revisions, and A95650B. Inside diameter 2-7/16 inch. Pitch 3/8 inch LOW PROFILE, six tooth. THE NEEDLE BEARING IS INCLUDED. Homelite catalogued this part as a drum and bearing assembly and that is how it is supplied here. The loose service bearing, if you ever need one on its own, is Homelite 70277, superseded to UP05641. FITS Super 2, Super 2 XL, Super 2cc, VI Super 2 XL, XL-2, XL Mini, XL101 Little Red, also badged XL Little Red 190, 192, 200, 5240 A note on the name: Little Red is a Homelite model name. The similarity to our own name is a coincidence and it is not a branding claim. PITCH - READ THIS BEFORE ORDERING. This is 3/8 inch LOW PROFILE, sometimes written .375 LP, which is the narrow kerf chain these small saws use. It is not the same as full size 3/8 pitch. The pitch is usually stamped on the bar. If it is not, measure between three consecutive rivets on the old chain and halve it. THE HOMELITE 240. Homelite fitted the 240 with three different drives and the model number does not tell you which one you have: 2-7/16 inch drum, 3/8 low profile, six tooth - this part 2-11/16 inch drum, 3/8 low profile, six tooth - not this part .325 pitch, eight tooth - not this part A .325 chain rules this out immediately. If your saw is 3/8 low profile, measure across the inside of the drum before ordering. Check the crank stub for scoring while the clutch is off. A drum that has run without grease marks the shaft, and a new bearing on a marked shaft will not last the season.

  • SPROCKET DRUM WITH THE NEEDLE BEARING FITTED - 2-7/16 inch inside diameter, 3/8 inch LOW PROFILE, six tooth. Replaces Homelite A95653 in its A through E revisions and A95650B. The bearing is included, so this replaces the whole spinning assembly rather than leaving you to press an old bearing into a new drum.
  • FITS THESE HOMELITE SAWS - Super 2, Super 2 XL, Super 2cc, VI Super 2, XL, XL-2, XL Mini, XL101, Little Red, 190, 192, 200 and 5240. Little Red is a Homelite model name, not our brand - the saw was badged XL Little Red and it takes this sprocket.
  • 3/8 LOW PROFILE, NOT FULL SIZE 3/8 - These two are different chains and the sprocket will not drive the wrong one. Low profile is the narrow-kerf chain these small saws came with. Read the pitch stamped on your bar or count it off the old chain before ordering, because a full size 3/8 chain on a low profile sprocket will not run.
  • THE HOMELITE 240 TOOK THREE DIFFERENT DRIVES - and the model number will not tell you which one you have. This drum is the 2-7/16 inch one. The other two are a 2-11/16 inch drum, also 3/8 low profile six tooth, and a .325 pitch eight tooth. If your old chain is .325 this is not your part at all. If it is 3/8 low profile, measure the drum across the inside before ordering.
  • WHILE THE CLUTCH IS OFF - Check the crankshaft stub the bearing rides on for scoring or a blue heat mark, because a drum that has run dry will have marked the shaft and a new bearing on a scored shaft does not last. Check the clutch shoes and the drum face for bluing at the same time. Grease the bearing on assembly.
