A complete gasket set for the Tecumseh 8 and 10 HP HM, VM and TVM engines: the HM70, HM80, HM100, HMXL70, H80, VM70, VM80, V80, TVM170, TVM195, TVM220 and TVXL195. It contains the head gasket, intake and exhaust gaskets, valve cover and breather gaskets, carburetor and mounting gaskets and the related engine gaskets, and replaces gasket set 33279L and the earlier 33279, 33279A through 33279J and 34042A. Crankshaft oil seals, pistons and rings are not included. Gasket sets changed across production, so read the model and spec number on the engine and confirm it is in the 8-10 HP family. These engines are common on two-stage snowblowers, generators and tillers. Scrape every mating face to bare metal, check the head for flatness, torque the head bolts in sequence, and replace the crank seals separately if they weep.
