Ring and gasket kit for the Briggs & Stratton 33-series single-cylinder OHV engines, 19 to 21 HP, at the 94mm (3.70 inch) bore. The kit contains piston ring set 794126 and complete engine gasket set 796187, with the head gasket, valve cover gasket, intake and exhaust gaskets and small O-rings. Pistons, connecting rods, valves, wrist pins and circlips are not included: this is for an engine whose pistons are still serviceable. It fits models 331707, 331777, 331807, 331877, 33M677, 33M777, 33M977, 33R777, 33R877, 33S777 and 33S877 and short blocks 592057 and 592058. It does not fit the 31-series 16 to 18 HP singles, which have a 90.5mm bore and take ring set 594437, or the V-twins and the 22 HP and larger singles. Read the model, type and code on the engine before ordering. Measure the bore for size and taper and check the ring grooves first, hone lightly, stagger the ring gaps, check the head for warp and follow the service manual for head bolt torque.

- FOR PISTONS THAT ARE STILL GOOD - Measure the bore for size and taper and check the ring grooves before ordering. Hone lightly, stagger the ring end gaps, check the head for warp and tighten the head bolts in the sequence in the service manual.
