Complete rebuild kit for the Kohler 83mm twin-cylinder engines, with the parts for both the top end and the bottom end. The kit contains two 83mm standard pistons with wrist pins and circlips, two matched ring sets, two connecting rods, intake and exhaust valves, the complete gasket set (head, valve cover, intake, exhaust and breather gaskets and the small O-rings), two crankshaft oil seals and a tube of crankcase sealer. Bearings, camshaft and lifters are not included. These engines were built with two ring groove styles, 1.2mm and 1.5mm; because the pistons and rings are replaced together as a matched set, the kit fits either without measuring the old rings. It fits the CH25, CH26, CH27, CH730, CH735, CH740, CH745 and CH750, the CV25, CV26, CV27, CV724, CV725, CV730, CV740, CV745 and CV750, the KT715, KT725, KT730, KT735, KT740 and KT745, the SV710 to SV840, the LH755 and LH775 and the ECV749: all 83mm bore, 725cc or 747cc. It replaces ring sets 24-108-01-S, 24-108-11-S and 25-108-01-S and head gasket 24-041-13-S. Read the model and spec number on the blower housing decal before ordering, since horsepower alone does not identify the engine. Before assembly, check each bore for taper and out of round, check ring end gap and groove side clearance, check the crank journals for the new rods, and lap the new valves to their seats. The pistons replace Kohler 24-874-30-S.
